09.14.07 Good games and some outstanding players in action this weekend.
Week five- doesn’t seem possible, but the Tournament draw is October 9th. You can hear the draw on the IHSAA/Methodist Sports Medicine Sports Network or watch it live on IHSAASports.org at 7:00 pm (EDT). Paul Condry and I will be involved in these broadcasts, and I encourage you to join us. Big games-Penn at South Bend St. Joseph’s, Snider at Harding, FReitz at Central in Evansville, Arlington hosting Cathedral, Whiteland at Danville, East Central at Batesville, Andrean hosting Hobart, New Prairie at Jimtown, Charlestown at Providence, and West Lafayette at Tipton are all games involving ranked teams in the respective classes. Congratulations to Nick Seager of Clinton Prairie, Alex Turner of Columbus, and Justin Cave of Indian Creek for their play to this point as some of the top rushers in the state. Kyle Stevens of New Haven, Scott Rastovic of Valpo, and Brady Young of Delta lead the state in receiving, and Tyler Mote of South Decatur, Sarkisian Alex of Valpo, and Timmy Fogarty lead the state in passing.
