10.05.07 Another Big Weekend in college Football
Biggest of the big match-ups—Purdue hosting Ohio State at 8:00pm. The obvious story line here is the Boilers offense against one of the best defenses in the country. The Buckeyes are young and improving, and as is the case in games such as this, take care of the football, execute the kicking game, and score early are huge ingredients in a win. Gave upon the Hoosiers after the loss to Illinois? It is a crazy thing in sports that happens every year and that is you will win some games the experts think you should lose and similarly, you will lose some games the experts think you should win. Just do the math. IU has won four games and inch one step closer to bowl eligilibilty with a win over Minnesota, a team they should beat. Ball State is for real, in case you had doubts. great win last week and expect another one tomorow against Central Michigan. Notre Dame is in the wrong place at the wrong time with UCLA. The Irish are better but is it good enough? Wabash College still rolls along but have a tough one at Alleghany. In the NAIA, Marian created a football program and said one of its models was St. Francis. The Knights will find out first hand about their progress as they travel to Ft. Wayne to take on a Cougar team that has not lost a regular season game in so long I cannot remember. Check out Indiana Sports talk this weekend for all of your high school and college football reports.
