10.26.07 Heading into the final weeks of college football, there are some interesting story lines developing.

As we head into the final weekend of October, the college football season is definitely getting more and more interesting. We know that Purdue is bowl eligible, and that IU is one game away from that same goal. This weekend, the Hoosiers travel to Wisconsin to take on the 25th ranked Badgers. This game could be similar to the Michigan State game in the sense that the Badgers are very physical up front and the Hoosiers have not handled that very well to this point.
St. Francis is ranked 5th in the NAIA polls and have a tough match up in Urbana as the Cougars hope to get a chance to play for the NAIA title for the fourth consecutive year. Butler is back home after three difficult road losses and will take on Davidson in Pioneer league game. UIndy is at home against Saginaw Valley State and the Hounds must continue to win to stay in the hunt for a conference championship.
Wabash is 10th in the NCAA Division III polls, and look to stay unbeaten in their game in Greencastle against Austin. Franklin College is leading the HCAC and needs to win out to advance for the first time to the NCAA Division III tournament. The Grizzlies are at home against Manchester. Join me on Indiana Sports Talk Saturday to talk about these and other games in college football.
