09.26.08 Purdue at Notre Dame highlights the weekend in college football
To say that the Purdue at Notre Dame game is a crucial one is indeed an understatement. Purdue find themselves on the brink of a free fall after their last two outings. Notre dame is still searching for an offense, and is also searching for answers on the other side of the ball.Speaking of searching for answers, the Hoosiers need to bounce back in a big way after their loss to Ball State last week. I’m not sure Michigan State is the right opponent at the right time to help the Hoosiers out of the hole. At Ball Stae on Saturday, the Cardinals will honor wide receiver Dante Love. I, like you, have had Dante in my thoughts, and I am hopeful that his continued progress will continue. Also, what a classy move on the part of Coach Brady Hoke and the athletic department. Best small college game of the day is Franklin at Trine. The Grizzlies are undefeated, and the Thunder are playing very well so this should be a big game, and it could be on of those statement games for Trine. Try to catch a college game, and try to catch me on Indiana Sports Talk this weekend.
