03.08.08 Weather Disrupts Several Regionals
A snowstorm across southern Indiana has forced the postponement and rescheduling of several of Saturday’s regional games.
In Class 4A, the Seymour regional has been postponed until Monday. Terre Haute North will face Evansville Reitz at 6pm, followed by East Central and #1 New Albany. Championship action will be played Tuesday at 7:30pm.
In Class 3A, the Shelbyville regional has been postponed until Monday. Game times had not yet been determined as of Saturday morning. Championship action will be Tuesday night.
In Class 2A, the Greenfield-Central regional has been postponed until Monday. Eastern Hancock will take on Lawrenceburg at 6pm, and Heritage Christian faces Winchester at 8pm.
In Class 1A, the North Daviess regional has been delayed. The first game between Barr-Reeve and Borden is now scheduled for 3pm Saturday. The second game between Tecumseh and Orleans has been moved to Monday. No announcement has been made regarding the championship game in this sectional.
