03.11.08 Regionals Finally Wrap Up Tuesday
The IHSAA boys basketball tournament continues tonight with regional final games at four sites. In Class 4A, Evansville Reitz takes on New Albany in the Seymour regional final. The winner will get Brownsburg in this weekend’s semistate.
In Class 3A, Rushville faces Batesville in the Shelbyville regional final. Rushville needed four overtimes to get past Danville in last night’s regional semifinal. Tonight’s winner takes on Washington in the next round.
Lawrenceburg faces Winchester in the Class 2A regional final at Greenfield-Central. The victor plays Evansville Mater Dei in the semistate.
In Class 1A, Orleans faces Borden in the regional final at North Daviess with the winner getting Indianapolis Lutheran in the semistate.
Tonight’s games were pushed back from last weekend due to the snowstorm that hit the southern portion of the state. Following tonight’s games, the IHSAA will determine where the winners will play their semistate games.
